we know the problem, what is the solution?

This is where joogi comes in. joogi started as an obsession to get people out of home debt. Doesn’t that seem like the better American Dream? Most people never know the freedom of being in a home that is completely paid off. My parents never made it to that milestone. Our goal is to put one million people into debt-free homes. We know it sounds like a crazy idea but it’s based on proven concepts that already exist successfully in the world. We just put them together on an electronic platform, that if it works the way we envision, will be a novel solution to the current housing crisis. 

The idea behind joogi has three components to it. First is crowdfunding homes. Second is a rewards system where you earn by contributing to a crowdfund, as well as referring friends, checking in every day, and playing games. The last is an auction system where users bid with their rewards and the highest bidder walks away with a home that is completely paid off. But it’s not about just giving a home to someone. joogi believes in teaching you how to fish, not just giving you a fish. If you win a home in a joogi auction, it’s because you worked hard and smart to collect the rewards that will buy you the home. It might sound confusing but the concept is not as complex as you think. It’s one of those ‘it’s so easy, it’s hard’ concepts. We have created an economic ecosystem that is not about the most money you have, it’s how much effort you put into the game. The best part is that you will feel really good about helping to solve a big problem and maybe get a debt-free home yourself for helping. 

Think about what it would feel like to help others get better opportunities. It could be your loved ones and friends. Now think about what your life would look like if YOU had a debt-free home. What would your days look like? What things would you no longer put off? Who would you spend more time with? Who would you help? These are really exciting questions.
