Joogi started as an obsession over a big question: How can we get people out of debt? It's been a fun challenge to work our minds around all the corners and roadblocks. First, we landed on the power in numbers. People could come together to help pay things off. But we didn't just want people giving- they also had to get something out of it. We envisioned a circular, regenerative model that could feed itself. Last, it had to be fun. We've been through a few iterations of the Joogi app (with many more to come) but it finally feels like we made it to our foundational vision. We like to call what we're doing social de-commerce: putting the power in your hands to create a debt-free marketplace for yourselves. We are starting with something big and essential and will let the market lead us from there. Just think of the ripple effect of being debt-free somewhere in your life. That wave would go beyond the walls of our app. Security, freedom and the independence to pursue your dreams—that's the big vision and we hope you will help us make it a reality for every Joogi user.
